Other companies might be pushing people into watching movies on their cell phones (the new Motorola/Paramount deal for a mobile movie service comes to mind), but CinemaNow’s idea of going mobile is a little different.
The pioneering online movie service inked a deal with uVumobile that lets its users order movies on their phone for download to a PC or other compatible device, the LA Times reports.
Why this is better than just using the PC to order the flick is a bit of a mystery, except that it means you can choose a movie while you’re out to dinner and have it be fully downloaded and ready to watch by the time you get home from the restaurant.
Hmm. Maybe it is a cool addition after all.
