CNN.com Beefs Up Black in America

CNN.com added a community section and an interactive map to its Black in America Website.

In the community section, members can respond to questions from CNN anchor and special correspondent Soledad O’Brien on culture, politics and the economy, as well as responding to comments by other members. The current question is: Have race relations improved since the election of President Barack Obama?

The map, “Black in America: Journeys,” traces the migrations of African Americans in the United States from 1790-2007, using population and migration numbers, research and iReports.
