CNN will use the Facebook Connect linkup to cover the memorial service for the late Michael Jackson Tuesday. The service will allow Facebook users to watch live coverage online, as well as being able to update their status and follow their friends and other fans of the King of Pop without leaving the CNN.com Live video player.

Facebook Connect made its debut in January when the cable news network and the social-networking giant teamed up to cover the inauguration of President Barack Obama.

CNN.com Live will start its live coverage at 8:30 a.m. ET and present a special noon show before the complete live coverage of the memorial service begins at 1 p.m. Replays of the entire memorial service will be available at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
