According to Nielsen Online, CNN Digital was the No. 1-ranked TV-news Website for the month of June in unique visitors, total minutes, share of online news and average time per person.
CNN.com drew 2.5 million more unique visitors than MSNBC.com, 22 million more than FOXNews.com, 25.4 million more than ABCNEWS.com and 29.5 million more than CBSNews.com.
CNN.com also tallied 1.3 billion total minutes, 60% more than No. 2 MSNBC.com; topped the online-news-share list at 9%; and totaled 33.3 minutes of average time spent per person among the top 20 news and information sites.
CNN.com also said that year-to-date, it has delivered an average of 109 million monthly video streams, or nearly 5 million more than MSNBC.com and more than 88 million higher than FOXNews.com.
User-generated news community iReport.com saw an 85% gain in registered contributors and a 90% gain in submissions versus June 2008.
Finally, Nielsen Mobile reported that CNN Digital is currently the No. 1 mobile-news site in 2009, attracting 11.5 million unique visitors in May, up 40% versus the prior-year time period.
