You won’t catch Mad Money’s Jim Cramer pushing any media companies. “I hate media stocks,” he recently told The Hollywood Reporter.
“The world got changed by two companies,” Cramer said. “Apple is taking away the profitability of TV, and Google is taking it away in print. And it’s never going to reverse.” In the near term, Google is the bigger villain, he said. “It’s just a parasite. It doesn’t create content, it steals it, borrows it, shares it.”
Having said that, he’s bearish on Time Warner, but bullish on Viacom and Discovery, according to the article. But Cramer, why don’t you tell us how you really feel?
