CVS is Selling a $75 Android tablet

Are you in the market for a cheap Android tablet? (Who isn’t?) CVS is selling an Android tablet from Sylvania. it doesn’t have a model name, unfortunately, which worries me about its quality (or lack thereof).

This Sylvania tablet based on a 7″ (800×480) screen and it appears to be running Android v2.2 on a 1GHz CPU with 2GB Flash storage, a microSD card slot, Wifi, HDMI out, and 2 USB ports. You can find it online for $99, and with a coupon code APRIL25EC, the price drops to $75.

This is clearly one that you should only get at your own peril. Sylvania has been trolling the depths of bad Android tablets for some time now, and I’m concerned that this might be another one. Its biggest deficiency is the battery life: 3 hours. If that doesn’t scare you away, nothing will.
