Why Cyber Monday Trumps Black Friday [Infographic]

Today is Thanksgiving—a day to spend time with our families and focus on the things we’re thankful for.  But as soon as we’re stuffed with turkey, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie we’ll forget about what we’re thankful for and catch the shopping bug.

According to an exclusive infographic from Cyber Monday at HSN, “This year, Americans will spend more than $586 billion during the holiday season.  Of that, a staggering $96 billion will be spend online as shoppers search for the best deal.”  The infographic takes a look at the relatively new “Cyber Monday” trend and why buying online is so much more appealing than missing out on sleep, waiting in lines and wading through crowds to get the best Black Friday deals.
