Ashley Parrish joined DailyCandy as editorial director, where she will oversee the development and implementation of content strategy for its digital businesses, identifying new creative opportunities and product enhancements to drive advertising and e-commerce revenues and reach new customers.

Parrish had been content director for the women and teen networks at Hearst Digital Media, where she oversaw editorial operations for sites including Cosmopolitan.com, MarieClaire.com, HarpersBazaar.com, Seventeen.com, and Redbookmag.com.

She will report to senior vice president and general manager Beth Ellard, who said:
