If you run a website, you know how important search engine rankings can be. Getting your site on the first page of Google can bring in advertising dollars, an influx of new customers, or widespread awareness of your cause.

The latest addition to Rovio’s popular series of games has just set a new record. It’s been just over a month since Angry Birds Space launched and the furious avians have aready wracked up 50 million downloads. Real estate website Zillow has released a new app to help Android users find apartment rentals, the company’s first app dedicated to rentals. The app includes Zillow’s “Zestimates,” the sites trademark estimates of the cost of rentals on properties across the country.
The app lets apartment hunters look for a place to live by drawing boundaries around neighborhoods, and select their price range. Once they have searched, the app lets users compare listings in a side-by-side search results page, and then call or email landlords directly.
Jeremy Wacksman, vice president of consumer marketing and mobile at Zillow, stated: “Renters shop differently from buyers and look at many homes quickly, in specific locations, in a short amount of time. The Zillow Rentals for Android App was created specifically to address their needs by organizing listings in an easily-accessible way and allowing them to shop for the right home on location, in the neighborhood where they want to live.”
