Google Working on a 10″ Tablet?

It’s only been a few days since Google unveiled the Nexus 7, their first Android tablet, and rumors have already started on the next model.

Digitimes is reporting that the Google is planning to launch a 10″ tablet. There’s no mention yet of a ship date or even any specs for the device, but “sources” claim that the touch panels will come from AU Optronics (AUO) and Wintek. This last company also reportedly provides the touch panel for the Nexus 7, which might lend some credence to this rumor.

A number of tech blogs are taking this rumor very seriously, but I think it’s a little too vague for me to get excited. It doesn’t even claim that the panels have shipped, just that Google plans to order them. That’s not enough for me.
