Diane von Furstenberg, VSP Vision Care Use Pinterest to Help NYC Youth

The New York City Mission Society is using one of the internet’s most visual sites to tackle the vision problems of children in New York City.

With the help of the style mavens at Diane von Furstenberg and the vision insurance providers at VSP, the charity will donate a free eye exam and pair of glasses to a child in need for every image that is repinned from the #PinToGiveAndGet Pinterest board.

The promotion will run through January 31, 2013. The group has 1,000 certificates to give away, with a retail value of $385,000.

To participate, repin an image from the board onto one of your own. You can also email the link to pintogiveandget@vsp.com along with your name, birthday, address, and phone number to be entered to win a free pair of sunglasses or a $500 dvf.com gift card.
