The British division of Coca-Cola announced it will launch the Diet Coke Silver Room, a mobile portal targeting female consumers developed with mobile ad agency Marvellous, according to FierceMobileContent.
The Diet Coke Silver Room will offer four primary segments: “Access (music information, concert tickets and shopping tips), Gossip (celebrity news, supplied via partner magazine Heat, Style (fashion content in association with website getlippy.com) and R&R (downloadable games and environmentally-friendly living tips).”
The report said that the site will also promote the company’s Coke Zone reward system and hold monthly contests with prizes. There’s no word yet on whether or not it’s going to be a simple WAP site or offer more in the way of rich media (or a downloadable app).
