Digg Debuts Editor-Curated Breaking News Module

Breaking news from Digg: Digg now has a Breaking News module, curated by its editors and appearing on its Top News, My News, and Upcoming pages.

Web developer Can Duruk wrote on the Digg Blog:

As part of our effort to surface more great content on Digg, we came up with a feature that allows us to both showcase breaking/interesting stories quickly, as well as aggregate stories on a particular topic. Our community team will be managing the content in this module and working hard to identify the best stories out there on Digg. You can see the module on the right side of the Top News, My News, and Upcoming pages.
