Digg rolled out the new design for its buttons, adding that the change from its previous version should occur automatically on Web sites.
Product manager Michael Cieri wrote on the Digg Blog:
For publishers who are using an older version of our buttons, we highly recommend that you update your buttons to use our most current version. The new buttons have a number of benefits over our older buttons: faster load time on your story pages, includes the real-time Digg count, easily customizable look and feel.
