Digital Comic Museum Is Library Of Free Comic Downloads

Like comics? The Digital Comic Museum has a whole library of free public domain digital comics from Golden Age of comics. Revisit or read for the first time Captain Courageous, Blazing West and Spy-Hunters.

From their website: “All files here have been researched by our staff and users to make sure they are copyright free and in the public domain. To start downloading just register an account and enjoy these great comic books. We do not charge per download and the goal of project is to archive these comic books online and make them widely available.”

BoingBoing blogger Mark Frauenfelder loves it. He blogged: “Now that I’m set up with an iPad (protected by a Moleskine-like Dodocase), Comic Book Pad, and the free Digital Comics Museum, there’s really no good reason for me to buy anything else ever again.”
