Disney Internet president Steven Wadsworth is forecasting upwards of 30% growth in media, services, and mobile, according to this MediaPost story.
The article went on to say that Disney’s mobile strategy is centered around families (naturally). In addition, Wadsworth went on to say that ad-sponsored content and mobile “micro-transactions” are catching on in Japan, one of the countries that usually signal what’s going to happen next over here in the U.S. market.
Disney’s Internet and mobile properties cover a wide range, including ABC.com, ABCNews.com, Disney.com, ESPN.com, ESPN360, and Mobile ESPN.
