Disney Staffs Mobile Game Studio in Prague

Even as Disney Mobile failed over here, the famous company’s Internet division is ramping up mobile game production in Eastern Europe. Mobile Entertainment reports that the Walt Disney Internet Group is executing a significant “staffing boost” in their Prague-based mobile studio.

“The studio has officially been renamed the Disney Mobile Games Studio,” according to the report. “It [now] sits alongside a roster of mobile games studios owned by Disney based in Los Angeles, Tokyo, Prague and Beijing.”

Jiri Rosenkranz, Managing Director of Disney Mobile Games Studio, explained in the story that, contrary to some publishers, his group specializes in end-to-end development: “[Our team] works on the entire creative process–from conception to the finished game which typically runs on over 400 different handsets.”
