The mobile social networking market got even more crowded today with the limited beta launch of Jibe Mobile.
According to the company, Jibe gives users a single place where they can find and contact all their friends, regardless of whether they’re online or available through their phone. The platform supports mobile-to-mobile, mobile-to-Web, Web-to-mobile and even Web-to-Web communication and content sharing.
Using either Jibe on mobile or its Facebook widget, users can peruse YouTube, Flickr and Yahoo News and share any of the content with anyone in their Jibe address book, leaving it up to the service to figure out how and where to deliver it, even if someone’s not a Jibe member.
Folks interested in seeing how it works can request an invite at www.jibemobile.com/mobilebeta.htm.
