Do You Remember Choose Your Own Adventure on Atari?

Did you ever read a Choose Your Own Adventure book on your Atari?

Choose Your Own Adventure books have arrived in eBook format, the classic books from the 1980s optimized for the iPad and Kindle Fire. But the books were available for Atari and other devices back in the mid 1980s. Above, we’ve embedded a MobyGames screenshot from The Cave of Time edition for Apple II and Commodore 64.

Series founder R. A. Montgomery reminisced: “we were on the Atari set top box in 1982.  Bantam, our original publisher, actually started a little software division just for us.  It was the text of a story interspersed with some early eye-hand coordination games and some puzzles.”
