Waiting for a sender to finish typing a text message has to be one of the most frustrating effects of having to communicate by texts on iPhones. How long as you willing to stare at those blinking dots? Seconds? Minutes? Hours?
Pranksters at Miscellaneous Mischief thought you should test this theory out. They’re created an animated gif that you can send to friends (or enemies). It behaves exactly like Text-In-Progress blinking dots of death and will most likely drive a normal person crazy. Just download the gif and text it to a friend in mid-conversation. It’s much more effective than the beginning of a message. Make sure the recipient is going to be receiving this gif message on their iPhone (not Mac or iPad), otherwise, the animation won’t work or make sense. Then, prepare for backlash.
