ESPNDallasComLaunching.jpgESPNDallas.com is set to launch Monday, Sept. 28, following the sports network’s two other local sites: ESPNChicago.com, which debuted in April, and ESPNBoston.com, which launched Sept. 14.

The site will feature exclusive original content, content from contributors familiar with Texas and original locally relevant content created from ESPN’s multiple platforms, branded programming, and contributors.

Regular contributors to ESPNDallas.com will include: Matt Mosley, formerly with The Dallas Morning News and current NFC East blogger on ESPN.com, who will cover the National Football League’s Dallas Cowboys; Marc Stein, senior National Basketball Association writer for ESPN.com since 2002 and formerly of The Dallas Morning News, who will add his insights and analysis on the Dallas Mavericks; and Ed Werder, Dallas-based bureau reporter for ESPN for 11 years, who will contribute to Dallas sports coverage.

ESPNDallas SportsCenter, a three- to six-minute roundup of area sports news, will be hosted by SportsCenter anchors and be produced originally every day.

The Web home for ESPN Radio 103.3 will be a section on ESPNDallas.com, and the site will also feature a custom Dallas/Fort Worth video hub, an integrated video and audio experience and an ESPNDallas.com mobile Web extension.

ESPNDallas.com will be overseen by managing editor Barry Vigoda, a 12-year Dallas Morning News veteran most recently with DallasNews.com.
