Etsy, Clipboard, and Green Lantern Get a Reboot [Podcast]

On today’s Morning Media Menu (MP3 link), GalleyCat editor Jason Boog joined me to discuss the creative spheres of crafts, social bookmarking, and comic books as each gets a reboot for our more digitally connected, mobile, and modern age.

First, we introduced the social bookmarking site, Clipboard, which just opened to the public with new features.

Boog discussed DC Comics’ decision to create an alternate universe for its classic characters in which Alan Scott, the Green Lantern of the Golden Age of the 1940′s, comes out as a gay man.

We also talked about Etsy’s streamlined iPhone app and how mobile users are embracing online shopping.
