Use of social networks during natural disasters such as Hurricane Sandy and the Oklahoma tornadoes has become so mainstream that even hospital staffers and the Red Cross are logging in, according to this infographic developed by the University of San Francisco’s Masters of Public Administration department. The networks are a convenient way to reach a lot of people at once (sometimes more than you think), but what happens if the power goes out?
