Evernote Hello is the Address Book We All Secretly Need

Evernote released the Android version of their Evernote Hello app yesterday, and I can see why it’s going to be a success. While it might seem odd that a developer specialized in note-taking would release an address book, it makes sense once you look at the features.

Evernote Hello is not your average address book. Rather than organize the listings by name, this app lets you sort using the photos of the people in the address book. The app shows them not a a list of text but as a visual mosaic. And it does include all the usual contact info, so if you need to you can search for someone’s name.

I happen to love this idea, and I bet I’m not alone. While it’s easy for me to recognize someone’s face, recalling their name the next time I see them is not so much fun. This app should help with that.
