Facebook 3.0 For iPhone Now Available On The App Store

…TechCrunch’s Jason Kincaid says that Facebook 3.0 for the iPhone is The new application brings a slew of new features, making it what may be the most useful app on the App Store. Of course, this assumes that you find Facebook useful (I must admin that I don’t “get” Facebook.

But, if you “live on Facebook”, this latest update may indeed be the best thing since sliced bread for you. It provides a landscape viewing mode (but not for the login screen). It lets you see a lot more info such as upcoming events, friends’ birthdays, friends of friends, and mutual friends. iPhone 3GS owners can upload video directly to Facebook. Photos management has been enhanced and photos can now be uploaded to any album.
