Facebook is now allowing users to log in with their user names, rather than their email addresses, finally yielding the first benefit to its push to allow users to adopt vanity URLs, which launched June 28, Inside Facebook reported.
Inside Facebook speculated that Facebook wants users to think in Facebook terms instead of in the terms of whichever email providers they use.
