These days more and more small businesses are making their way onto Facebook, but if you haven’t opened a Facebook page for your business yet you may be wondering whether or not it’s worth it. A new infographic from do-it-yourself Facebook page builder tool Pagemodo illustrates the ways in which Facebook is helping companies generate business and increase their revenue.
Pagemodo explains the background behind the infographic on their blog:
“In 2011, we polled small business owners to find out how they use their Facebook pages. One of the most exciting things we discovered is that 47% of small businesses with Facebook pages see a significant amount of traffic go from their Facebook page to their website, which is great for business growth. Even better, 48% of those polled said a portion of the new visitors convert to paying customers!“
The infographic, ‘Facebook Survey 2011: Facebook Generates Business for Companies That Use It’, is based on the results of Pagemodo’s small business owners poll. They found that 50 percent of those businesses surveyed had a Facebook page. Of this 50 percent, nearly all of them are satisfied enough with the result to continue using Facebook for business purposes.
