Facebook launched Peace on Facebook, which contains links to anti-violence activist groups, charts showing Facebook friend connections between people across ethnic and religious groups with a history of conflict, polls about the viability of world peace and a “Share Your Thoughts” widget, CNET reported.
According to CNET, Peace on Facebook appears to be part of Peace Dot, a group affiliated with Stanford University, and other Web partners will be announced.
Peace on Facebook also contains a link to nonprofit initiative Facebook for Good.
