Shareaholic released its Q1 report on social media referral traffic, naming Facebook as the reigning king. Pinterest and StumbleUpon also made big gains, while Google+, Reddit, YouTube and LinkedIn traffic referrals remained relatively flat.

According to the report, Facebook drove more than 20 percent of overall social referrals during March, an increase of nearly 40 percent from December 2013. Pinterest came in second at just over seven percent, growing 48 percent during the same period.

Twitter referrals remain flat at about one percent, depending on the month. But according to Shareaholic, StumbleUpon is gaining with an increase of more than 14 percent. While Reddit, YouTube, Google+ and LinkedIn refer less than a quarter of a percent of traffic each, Reddit is still solidly in fifth place. Google+ overtook LinkedIn for sixth place.

YouTube is the biggest loser, with a decrease of more than 50 percent in referral shares according to the report. LinkedIn, which fell to eighth place, shed about 20 percent of its referral shares.
