FordFusion41.jpgFord will use Facebook and other social-networking sites to drive its Fusion 41 challenge, in which eight 2010 Fusion and Fusion Hybrid owners will be chosen to compete in a relay race to demonstrate the vehicle’s features, with each owner choosing four friends to participate, Inside Facebook reported.

A new Fusion provided by Ford will rotate between team members every 41 hours for three weeks, and new tasks must be completed each time the car changes hands, with each challenge recorded through Facebook posts, photos and videos.

The automaker is including everything participants will need to chronicle the events, as well as gas, and the winner will have his or her personal Fusion paid off by Ford, which will also give all team members free gas for one year, according to Inside Facebook.

Participants are encouraged to tag photos of themselves with Fusion 41 and post them on Facebook, as well as Flickr, YouTube, Twitter and other social-networking sites, according to Inside Facebook.
