Fake Celebrity Twitter Accounts Circulate Royal Baby Spam

Celebrities Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift got exclusive access to the first pictures of the royal baby, if you believe the phony links that have already been retweeted thousands of times on Twitter. The congratulatory tweets that the reality TV star and the country singer have supposedly sent to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their first child are missing two things: first, they are not coming from verified Twitter accounts and second, the links do not lead to pictures of the baby. Neither the birth, the gender, nor the name of the baby have been announced as of the time of this post. If you see tweets like these three below, don’t click on them.
