Fetchnotes App Offers Leaner Approach to Notes

If writing tweets is second nature for you, then you should definitely check out this new cloud-base notepad app, called Fetchnotes. It relies on intuitive Twitter-like hashtags to fetch relevant internet sources for tagged items in your notes.

Fetchnotes has some fierce and established competitors like Evernote, but their approach is refreshing and could mean real innovation to improve typical note taking and subsequent follow-up tasks. Here’s an example, let’s say you want to remember to buy some groceries or read a particular book. The app will retrieve and link your notes to relevant internet sites where you can obtain your book and food. For now, it appears that these links and services are limited, but the technology relies on more intuitive digital mnemonic devices.
