A group of fifth graders in Pennsylvania will be learning all about eReading on their summer vacation. The students have been given Nooks, loaded with their summer reading materials, to take home for the summer.

WFMZ reports: “Fifth graders at Schuylkill Valley Middle School will be taking home Nook e-readers. The devices will be filled with digital copies of books for students to read over summer break.’We work very hard during the school year to get students reading all year long, but then, as I’m sure you can imagine, reading drops off over the summer,’ said Jane Sigoda, teacher.Teachers, parents, businesses and school board members all pitched in to cover the cost of the e-readers.”
