fatburgrJust in time for your New Year’s resolutions, Fatburgr allows you to check out nutritional information from some of the most widely spread fast food and restaurant chains. Of course, it won’t actually help you lose the weight- just let you know how badly off course you have gotten. Its primary focus is to unveil the false “healthy” choices that restaurants give to its patrons, such as Chili’s grilled chicken Caesar salad that has over 1,000 calories. This site allows you to view by both restaurant and by category of food. The majority of the restaurants are fast food chains, but there are sit down and healthier choices such as Subway as well.

The categories of food have everything from appetizers to breakfast to French fries. It then compiles a list of those types of food from all the restaurants they have on file and shows a comparison of nutritional value.

Another cool feature is what they refer to as “iFat”. With so many of us using iPhones and other phones with Internet capabilities, this website is available to those technologically savvy individuals while they are even getting ready to order!

With Fatburgr adding new restaurants and their nutritional information, this website has the potential to be a useful tool to health conscious individuals- as well as a tool to keep the restaurants in check.
