Flash Games Industry Experiences (r)Evolution!

With cross-platform development becoming more of a reality due to recent improvements in technology and lowered barriers to entry, old labels such as “Flash game developers” and “mobile game developers” no longer apply. They are simply game developers.

In a recently released 2012 market survey, conducted annually by Mochi Media and in partnership this year with Adobe and FGL.com, it was revealed that 86 percent of Flash game developers are expanding to mobile platforms. This study also revealed that popular technologies & methodologies used to go multi-platform include AIR, Unity3D, and native coding.

This data will come to life at Mochi Media’s one-day event, Flash Gaming Summit 5March 24, 2013 in San Francisco. This conference will be dedicated to fostering the growth and success of today’s game creators and publishers.

Organized annually by Mochi Media, this conference will bring together leaders and pioneers in the ever-evolving Flash game space to share industry insights and strategies on successful game design, development, and monetization. FGS is made possible each year thanks to amazing sponsors such as Adobe and FGL.com.

The FGS 5 speakers and sessions represent the exciting evolution taking place. Adobe, Unity Technologies, and top developers such as Frima Studio, Ninja Kiwi, and Berzerk Studio are in the lineup. View all speakers.
