Flash Site of the Month – Pier Inc.

This blog on my opinion is something very brilliant, but also a bit foolish. Brilliant it is because it is build using Flash and I haven’t seen so perfect build Flash site a long ago. And foolish it is because using XHTML/CSS such result can be made several times faster.

Here at Pier blog developers have made serious work to obtain the same functionality that HTML blog have – the content displaying, working back/forward buttons and, what is most important, that the site is indexed by Google. It is hard work to made all these things in Flash and I think developers from this site made all this perfect, but I don’t understand why work on things if you using HTML can get them without any work? But still – great work and nice demonstration of developer skills and possibilities of Flash technology.
