Food & Wine Magazine editor in chief Dana Cowin will serve as a guest judge for Project Food Blog, in which bloggers will compete in a series of blogging-related challenges — voted on by a panel of judges, as well as the Foodbuzz community — with the grand-prize winner to receive $10,000, a dedicated Project Food Blog section on Foodbuzz for one year, and other prizes at the Second Annual Foodbuzz Blogger Festival in San Francisco Nov. 6.

Foodbuzz director of publishing and managing editor Ryan Stern said:

Every day, Foodbuzz is inspired and amazed by the thousands of incredible food blogs produced by zealous cooks and food enthusiasts around the world. Project Food Blog will provide a forum to showcase this talent and give passionate bloggers a much deserved chance to be in the spotlight.
