Hi ThinkMobile readers - all the great mobile apps, devices and reviews are now a part of mediabistro's SocialTimes.com. Thanks for reading!

verizonsearch.jpgHachette Filipacchi media has introduced ELLEMobile, ELLEgirl Mobile, Car and Driver Mobile, and Premiere Mobile on Verizon Wireless’ Mobile Web 2.0 service, according to a new MediaPost report.

These four mobile magazines are different than regular cell phone Web sites like wap.caranddriver.com in that they’re integrated into Verizon’s custom “mobile Web 2.0″ interface.

The new services are available to Verizon Web 2.0 subscribers, who pay $5 per month plus airtime charges. Personally, we’re not fans of this approach, because it’s yet another way to nickel-and-dime Verizon subscribers. Regular mobile Web sites for the same magazines are free to access and not particularly difficult to use. For more information on how this works, check out Verizon’s new Mobile Web 2.0 information page.
