Gangnam Style Breaks Guinness World Record For Most YouTube Likes… Oppa!

Psy’s Gangnam Style is already one of the most viral YouTube videos of all time, having racked up over 229 million views so far, but now it’s got a Guinness World Record to its name as well!  This morning the Guinness World Records announced that the video has officially broken the record for “Most Likes on YouTube!”

Chase Hoffberger of The Daily Dot reports that the video, which at the writing of this post has a whopping 2,238,848 likes (compared to only 97,458 dislikes) has beat out the previous world record holder, LMFAO, which currently stands at just over 1.5 million likes.  It looks like 97,458 people are afraid of invisible horses!

Guinness World Records community manager Dan Barrett said in a statement this morning that it’s “great to be able to award a record for this tremendously popular video.”

Now why not celebrate this new World Record by watching everyone’s favorite K-Pop hit!  Enjoy!
