adroll_2Earlier in the month we told you about a bunch of new features rolled out by blog advertising selling system Ad Roll. Promising that we can all “earn more together,” the company joins BlogRush and Entrecard in the advanced link exchange department.

The new traffic exchange feature is very easy to implement. In fact, the guys at AR are so eager for you try out the program, that they’ll even set it up for you!Step one is to create a community of Websites that relate to your blog’s niche. This is the same group of people you can choose to team up with to approach potential advertisers with. After all, there is power in numbers.

Step two is to activate the feature.

This is a smart idea AR since many banners are currently vacant, touting only a “for sale” message. Now while you wait for the money to flow in, you can generate free traffic by maximizing the space.

The system works on a 1-for-1 exchange basis. Basically show an ad, get an ad.

You can customize your own ad and upload it to your profile. Or, the system will generate a clean-looking ad for you. AR will then pull the ad automatically once you opt in.

The Traffic Exchange program can be shut off at any time.

I just got wind of this new feature this morning and have already been approached by folks asking me to join their community. Perhaps a sign of good things to come. Read more here.
