Google+ 1.0.6 for iPhone Gains Messenger Presence & +1 for Photos

The update for Google+ for Android got out of the door first. But, iPhone users have a Google+ app update of their own to install. Google+ version 1.0.6.2591 was just released and brings performance improvements and a pair of new features.

1. Support for typing notifications & presence in Messenger
2. Support for +1 of photos

Messenger, if the name seems unfamiliar, is the new name for what used to be called Huddle in the Google+ app. Messenger provides group text messaging features without requiring paying for a mobile carrier’s SMS text messaging service.
