Tablets, or least the iPad, are hot. So hot, in fact, that Google just turned on the ability for advertisers using Google AdWords to specifically target tablets for their campaigns.
Tablet targeting options now available
Google lets AdWords users target Android, iOS and webOS tablets. Any or all of them can be selected for a campaign. Note that Google’s tablet targeting does not includes the BlackBerry PlayBook. Advertisers can also select which mobile carriers can be targetted.
Google expects 165 million tablets to ship in the next two years. So, they expect tablets to be a huge ad opportunity with, apparently, the exception of RIM’s PlayBook.
Personally, I think Google ads look fine as is on my iPad (same to the left).
