FierceMobileContent reports that Google announced several new free mobile services to help voters stay informed of current events in the political cycle.
Google’s Mobile Special Projects division launched the m.google.com/elections mobile Web site to create a “one-stop shop” for electoral coverage, the report said. The site offers Mobile Search, Mobile News, Mobile Reader, Mobile YouTube and Mobile Maps, all of which are customized to deliver content tied to campaign news and video clips. It’s a little basic looking but it should do the trick. For more information on how to use these new features, read Google’s Mobile Blog entry on the subject.
