Google Photovine for iPhone Gets a 1.1 Update. Has Anyone Received an Invitation to Actually Use It?

Google’s quasi-stealth (compared to Google+) Photovine for iPhone app was released in the first half-of June. I applied for an invitation on June 12 and never heard back. There has not been much of an uproar of people wanting invitations. But, it is odd that I don’t really hear (read) about people playing with the Photovine iPhone app. There are only 70 ratings of the app in the App Store (3 stars out of possible 5) so far. So, it doesn’t look like many people have received invitations. Over the weekend, Google released a 1.1 update to the app despite its apparently narrow release.

Photovine 1.1 (iTunes App Store)

The upadte brings:

- Faster browsing in the Vines tab
- Cleaner transitions between views
- Push notifications
- See who recently participated in vines

Only eight (8) people have provided ratings for this 1.1 updated version so far. Have you received an invitation to Photovine?
