The Google Translate for Android app’s experimental conversation translation mode can now work with a dozen additional languages: French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Dutch Russian, Czech, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Polish. This conversation mode lets two people speak to each other in their own languages with Google Translate acting as translator.

The version 2.2 update includes two other new features:
1. Conversation mode speech input can be edited and corrected after a phrase is spoken
2. Translation results can be viewed in a full-screen mode
This free app can be found in the Android Market. Android OS 2.2 (Froyo) or newer is required to install and run the app.
