Gray Day at The Huffington Post: Taylor Gray Named SVP, Marketing

Former Thomson Reuters global head of brand Taylor Gray has a new post at The Huffington Post: senior vice president of marketing.

Gray will be responsible for developing and executing marketing programs to enhance awareness and impact of the HuffPost brand.

Prior to Thomson Reuters, he served as associate publisher and global marketing director at TIME, president of the TIME Magazine Interactive Group, and director of U.S. magazine research services at Reader’s Digest Association.

President and chief revenue officer Greg Coleman said:

We’re tremendously excited about bringing on Taylor Gray to oversee our marketing and branding efforts. He will play a key role in how the HuffPost brand continues to expand and develop, and our team looks forward to working with him on a broad range of fronts — from sales development and marketing to research and events.

Gray added:

The Huffington Post is a singularly exciting opportunity I couldn’t resist. It not only has established itself in short order as a media brand that is having an impact on the national conversation, but it understands and leverages the value of community and social networking, both editorially and in terms of marketing and sales. I look forward to helping extend the reach of the HuffPost brand even more.
