Food and restaurant blog Grub Street expanded its appetite past its New York origins and will sample the cuisine of Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia and San Francisco in locally focused blogs.
The Grub Street network of blogs will replace existing MenuPages.com blogs in Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia and San Francisco, but they will incorporate MenuPages.com’s listings database and local expertise from its city editors.
Grub Street became the first daily blog after a relaunch of New York Magazine‘s Website. According to Omniture SiteCatalyst, it averaged 1.6 million page views per month during the first five months of 2009, double its 800,000 average during the same period in 2008.
