Hands-On Mobile, the mobile game publisher, today announced the availability of the beta version for its new Hands-On Mobile Developer Network (HDN). The company said in a statement that it offers a one-step mobilization solution for developers to build, distribute, and monetize rich mobile applications across major device platforms, which is a key problem in today’s fractured wireless environment.
Hands-On Mobile is responsible for franchises such as Guitar Hero III Mobile, WPT Texas Hold ‘Em, NFL Mobile Live, NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile, and Billboard Mobile, and distributes branded content from partners including Activision, Billboard, CBS, LEGO, Marvel, NBA, NBC Universal, Viacom, and World Poker Tour. Developers interested in the new platform can sign up at developer.handson.com.
Full disclosure: the author, who is also a musician, worked on audio for several Hands-On Mobile games, most for a subsidiary that Hands-On Mobile acquired at a later date.
