HarperCollins Children’s Books has launched new educational iPhone and iPad apps for children. ‘The ABC Song’ app and ’123: Ants Go Marching’ app are published by Curious Puppy – HarperCollins Children’s Books’ new e-imprint for kids.

Both apps includes learning games to help teach color and shapes as well as word association and memorization games. ‘The ABC Song’ app turns includes songs so that players can practice saying their ABCs. ‘The 123: Ants Go Marching’ app features basic math and language skills based on the classic song. Both apps are available for $0.99.

Susan Katz, President and Publisher, HarperCollins Children’s Books stated: “With the launch of these educational apps for kids, we are also launching Curious Puppy, our first e-imprint. Together they show that learning can be fun year-round and mobile applications are a convenient option to keep a child engaged on the go.”
