Here’s why Another Christmas Tree Photo on Facebook is a Good Thing [Infographic]

As you scroll past yet another Christmas tree photo on Facebook, take heart, photo uploads receive 84% more link clicks than text and link posts, and 104% more comments than the average post. Facebook estimates that more than 300 billion photos have been uploaded to their servers since 2005. Unbelievable?

Additional facts include a mind-blowing 1.13 trillion likes since 2009 and 140.3 billion friend connections. There are 17 billion location-tagged posts (including check-ins between 2010 and 2012). And of Facebook’s 1 billion users, there are 600 million mobile users. One picture is uploaded every 3 days per Facebook user, attracting 53% more likes (yep, even Christmas trees!).
